Demonstrating a deep respect for the Tarble’s collection and its relevance to the community, glyneisha carefully reviewed our digital database, selecting objects that resonated with her artistic vision and evoked connections to Black domestic spaces. After throughout consideration, she chose twenty items, including prints, photographs, household objects, furnitures, and musical instruments. These selected pieces are integrated into this installation alongside her personal artifacts, wells of black salt, collages, and large graphite wall drawings. This innovative project offers a fresh perspective on the Tarble’s permanent collection while also highlighting glyneisha’s distinctive artistic approach.
